Alviano Lake-Guardea
 With its 900 hectares is one of the largest oasis of the WWF.

In 1978 it was incorporated as a Haven of protection for water birds, which stop during migration and in winter nests in spring and summer.

The area of approximately 800 ha, it covers the most part on the territory of Guardea, but also affects the municipalities of Alviano, Montecchio and Civitella, is managed by the WWF and the entrance is located near the small church of Madonna del Porto dating back perhaps to the early 1600s. Among the birds present: red herons, white herons and more, bitterns, moorhens, water rails, cormorants, ducks, osprey and many others, for about 80 different species.
